We are featuring ex SIGTA apprentices this week – today it’s Ammar who is currently at university telling us about his journey.
I would like to thank the SIGTA team for helping me in passing my Apprenticeship. I would also like to thank Atlantic Precision for giving me the opportunity to work as an Apprentice. My apprenticeship helped me grow and learn as an individual, it made me more confident, and I would highly recommend anyone to do an apprenticeship.
The benefits of doing an apprenticeship are learning on the job, appling practical skills from previous experience as well as building the confidence and knowledge for the future. I am currently at Portsmouth University studying Beng Hons Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. I am enjoying this degree. I am learning and growing each day.
