Safe driving skills – This course has been approved by I.T.S.S.A.R. and meets the requirements of Regulation 9 of the Provision and Use for Work Equipment Regulations. The course is validated by the application of the nationally accepted form of competence test.

- Appreciate the capabilities and limitations of the truck
- Understand and carry out daily and weekly maintenance routines
- Hazards of fork truck operation and the means by which these hazards may be eliminated
- Steering exercises
- Hydraulic systems, Load handling in racking
- Vehicle loading and unloading
- Pre-use check Stacking and de-stacking at ground level, eye level and high level in confined spaces
- Final assessment
