Apprenticeships with SIGTA

Build real skills. Earn while you learn. Start your career.

A SIGTA apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to work in a real job, earn a wage from day one, and gain industry‑recognised qualifications while learning from experienced professionals.

We work closely with employers across Sussex and the South East to deliver high‑quality apprenticeships in engineering and manufacturing, electronics and business roles, supported by specialist training at our centres in Shoreham By Sea and Eastbourne.

Get paid. Get qualified. Get a career.

Why choose a SIGTA apprenticeship?

Choosing an apprenticeship is a big decision. At SIGTA, we focus on preparing you for long‑term employment, not just helping you gain a qualification.

  • Paid employment from day one
  • Hands on training in real working environments
  • Learning with expert tutors
  • Industry recognised apprenticeship standards
  • Strong progression into skilled roles and further training

Our apprentices develop the confidence, experience and technical skills employers are looking for.

What is an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a genuine job with training built in.

You will:

  • Have a contract of employment and be paid from day one
  • Learn practical skills on the job
  • Complete off‑the‑job and/or on‑the‑job training with SIGTA and your employer
  • Achieve recognised qualifications

This combination of real work and structured learning helps you build a strong foundation for your future career.
