This annual refresher session provides qualified workplace First Aiders with a clear, practical update in key emergency response skills. Recommended by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the course revisits the immediate actions required when someone becomes ill or injured at work and strengthens the confidence needed to respond quickly and safely.
Training blends concise theory with practical, hands-on exercises and realistic casualty scenarios to reinforce essential first aid techniques and emergency decision-making. Learners will refresh their knowledge of CPR, AED use, managing unconscious casualties, treating choking, responding to shock, controlling bleeding, and handling minor injuries in a safe and supportive environment.

First aid at work certificates are valid for 3 years and a 2 day first aid requalification / refresher course must be completed before expiry of the current certificate, or a full First Aid at work course would need to be completed.
