SIGTA’s Forklift Truck – Experienced Operator - Uncertificated course is designed for operators who already use forklift trucks in the workplace but do not yet hold a recognised qualification. This ITSSAR accredited course provides formal training and assessment to ensure operators meet legal requirements and can operate safely, competently and confidently.
Training is available for counterbalance, reach, and a wide range of other forklift truck types.
Course Overview
This course is intended for individuals who have practical forklift truck operating experience but have not previously received formal training or certification. Delivered in line with ITSSAR standards, the course focuses on correcting unsafe habits, reinforcing best practice and ensuring operators meet the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) and workplace safety legislation.
Training is delivered onsite at your premises, using your own equipment and operating environment, allowing instructors to assess real working conditions and tailor instruction accordingly.
Through a combination of theory, practical instruction and assessment, operators develop the skills, knowledge and awareness required to operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently as qualified operators.
NOTE: Course duration ranges from 2 to 3 days depending on the number of delegates.

There is no expiry on fork lift training certificates, but it is recommended to undergo safety refresher training every 3-5 years.
