Seahaven STEM event

Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths are the footing for most of our technical apprenticeships. Last nights event in Newhaven was aimed at promoting STEM - especially to young women who are underrepresented in this area.

We had a good turnout and various guest speakers talked about their careers. I gave a presentation on some of the companies that we work with in Newhaven and the fantastic work that they do - Veolia, Plastech, Felcon and more.

Pictured is a guest speaker who works in hydro electric power generation projects.
